Hands down one of the best bars in Hudson county. If I had known it was closing I would have made many more trips! Great for musicians and artist alike and awesome bartenders.

There's probably nothing I can say about this place that everyone doesn't already know. It's truly special, and introduced me to another musical family that I wouldn't trade for anything in the world. Let's keep the support for local & original musicians alive in Hoboken!

I am truly sick from this. In the three decades that I've been promoting, performing and supporting music in this friggin' town, these closures never cease to hurt. You'd think they would. You'd think dumbasses like me would've given up by now. But we don't give up. We keep trying. And the saddest thing about this story is that Northern Soul was a success in that battle for art, music and culture in Hoboken. People truly loved this place for so many reasons. There seems to be no logic behind the eviction. Painting over graffiti? Really? Anyway. Keep fighting the good fight. Music feeds the soul and the soul is in all of us.

How can this spot be pushed out when it was always packed always lively and lovely to be a part of?!? I am heartbroken and shocked. How greedy can the landlords be. We need more local business not less. We need locals owning these businesses not more warehouses or parking garages!

Every town has one unique bar that people venture to from far and near .
In an era of fake and plastic bar /restaurants with no character it's unbelievable that Hoboken has lost its finest establishment .
