Just discovered Northern Soul recently. It is by far the best bar and music venue in Hoboken. Closing it is a huge mistake.

This bar was the best thing to happen to the SW part of town. Everyone was like one big family; the patrons, bartenders, dogs, musicians, everyone. Terrible news.

There isn't anything much worse than losing an iconic music venue. Let's get it back.

The judge needs to be tossed from the bench and the landlord should beware of karma biting him in the ass.

Completely unfair, they turned that place from a dump to a popular spot. They painted over grafitti??? That was the technicality? The judge should be ashamed.

It's so absurd that this was even allowed to happen. Evicted because they CLEANED up the graffiti on the outside of their establishment, to keep a nicer, cleaner looking space, and in-turn a cleaner community?!! Ridiculous! This was a great bar where I met many , now long time, friends. With the shortage of places like this in town now, that support art and music, this is a great loss for Hoboken.
