To say Hoboken has lost it's soul is a heavy understatement. I lived in town for a while and had to move for work. I still come back frequently and always plan on hitting northern soul with the majority of my social time. This establishments respect for their patrons, their embracing of the local arts, and most importantly a safe place to engage a genuine experience is uncommon for a quickly unrecognizable town. Now it's ironic for us to say "Hoboken has No Soul"

This bar was a true asset to the 4th ward, it made the neighborhood safer, it massively helped increase property value and other local revenue in the area. Now this greedy Benson guy wants to ruin all the good work they did, how can local politicians just stand back and do nothing on this? Surely in the end its the community that ultimately suffers.......Long live Northern Soul

Unbelievable that you would force this establishment to close. Maybe you have forgotten how empty this bar used to be before they took over. Good luck finding someone to rent for whatever ridiculous rates you expect. They won't survive, and the money you lose while the space remains unused will be far more than you will ever gain.
