Sadly, this has become the norm in Hoboken these days. Landlords looking to make more money no matter what the cost is to the quality of community which certain establishments bring to Hoboken. It's very sad, and over painting the walls you kick them out? Give me an F'ing break.

Lifting a glass to Northern Soul! Now let's *Landmark Old Hoboken* and implement *commercial* rent stabilization and tenant protections!! The flood of offshore money and speculation is not blessing but a curse - it's a plague of locusts and this is just the latest result. It'll end with a crash and leave us with nothing.

As a First Street neighbor, I was shocked to see the window signs upon returning to town a few days ago! I've lived here since before NS opened for business & know that they helped improve the 4th Ward, providing a venue for local talent, musical & visual artists alike. It's really sad when a fine local business like NS is caught-up in the rampant greed of landlordism all to prevalent in Hoboken. What a loss to this nabe!!!

A space and a place to relax and see something new as the rotating art on the walls and hear original bands and people who are practicing their trade of music before they hit the big time is important to keep open.
