I had no idea until I saw this petition that there was even a consideration to close Northern Soul. Please do the right thing and keep it open. I've seen too many of my favorite Hoboken businesses ruined by modern residential/commercial property and/or "upgrades." I don't want Northern Soul to join them.

Honestly hoboken is running out of places that cater to music and arts and this was one of the last of them. Sad to see this city turn into a mess of failed business and unrecoupable corporate rent rates. This was a landmark bar for the off beat crowd . The sad thing is we already have too many cookie cutter garbage bars and we are losing all the unique ones. R.i.p noso
