Dear Reader, My name is Ryan Kleinfeldt. I am 22 years old and I live in Elk Grove, California. In the fifth grade I was diagnosed with Aspergers Syndrome, which is a form of autism. Aspergers is a developmental disorder that affects mainly my social skills. Growing up, life was not easy for me, and the teasing that I endured sure did not help matters. However, despite what went on in my past, I believe that I have become a better person because of it. I recently created a website to educate others on Aspergers. I have received over 25 emails from mothers and fathers around the world who found inspiration from my website, and used my words to help their children. I have reached alot of people, but that is not good enough. Not enough people know about Aspergers, and I am going to do my best to change that. I am hoping for a chance to appear on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, to share my story and my website, and to educate even more people around the world. Why Ellen. Well because Ellen is the kind of person that I strive to be. She uses her wealth and popularity to help others, and that is alot of what her show is all about. This makes her show something that I very much want to be a part of. I have sent several emails and letters to the show, but my attempts have been overlooked. 1 out of 166 people are born today with some form of Autism, I feel I deserve an opportunity to to appear on Ellen\'s show so that i can educate people about Aspergers Syndrome and Autism.
