Last time they stayed over there in the car park there was human waste on the ground, I cannot believe it ! Is sumone threatening to use the racist card here against travellers ? ?

Hetton Lyons and the local area has had millions spent on it with our country park and new, very expensive homes. These homes will lose a great deal in value if this is allowed to happen on our doorstep. We are also now attracting sporting events and community events to Hetton Country Park, people just won't come if gypsies live their, not to mention the mess they make and the security of our homes and buildings.

Don't rob society of yet another sporting pastime. The area will become so polluted nobody will go there again to fish and youth who benefit from a fishing experience will have one less anchor in their lives.

I think it is absolutely deplorable that this is even being considered due to the fact that there is a traveller camp based in the old pearsons yard. The council should be looking at renovating old grounds rather than taking away space which is being used for the angling club and local community who visit the park.

Don't forget that if not for the efforts of past and present members of Hetton Lyons Angling Club this pretty little lake would still be a just a muddy hole at the bottom of a field. The car park is disgusting and needs to be repaired to turn it into a car park not a travellers site

This is not needed and not wanted in Hetton or the surrounding area. This will cause massive problems.

This cannot happen.......they cannot satisfy the requirement that it will not cause additional crime or antisocial behaviour in our area...This access to thepark is too well used as well. It will be filthy rubbish flytipped in the 1st week and good luck keeping the lake stocked.

Great venue for young and old to lose the parking would destroy all the work put into the area for families to visit and enjoy.
