This is a totally unsuitable location as the car park is a vital amenity to the public using the Country Park. People from the Lyons and Easington Lane area can only access the park from this entrance. It is also the only space for The Angling Club to use as a car park and access to their facilities.

Stupid idea!! Keep them away from hetton country park.. they will ruin it! Where will visitors park? What will happen when festivals are on? It will be a total nightmare

Absolutely Ridiculous. Its not needed. It doesn't help the area. As someone who live in this area also works in the bordering industrial estate this is not wanted by anyone. All we ask of 'travelers' is that they do what they are called. Travel.

I wish to keep this car park I use this car park to park my car to go round lakes and also i walk past car park to enter the lakes wen walking down and don't wish it to be used for travellers

Why?? I use this car park to walk my elderly dog. They will just destroy everything around. They have no place here as we already have a site. Let them camp there
