Sunderland City council absolutely disgraceful this club has been going 26 years and finally having family things going on throughout the holidays for our local children within Hetton Lyons country park , why are you looking to locate travelling gypsies in our area surely there are other brown fields sites available to use for them, without having destroy a car park and surrounding area which is used by fishing club dog walkers etc.

There must be loads of other unused sites that can be used for travellers. Why choose a site that is used be lots of people of all ages.

I wouldn't walk my dogs or go for walks by myself at the lakes if travellers were there I would be to scared, why take pleasure away from people who use the car parks regular .. thank you

I regularly walk and cycle round this area and it is relaxing and enjoyable. Don't take more of our scenery away.

Another case of the money grabbing council of Sunderland lets send all our boys back to 'endon and get back to 70's when we had no townies at all here

I fish this lake on most weekends with the family. Changing the location will make me think twice about coming.
The car park is in continues use and this will damage the lake and the area
