We do not need travellers camped out near a beauty spot. They do not pick up their trash . Also the crime rate will increase and people's pets will he stolen

There is already a large compound in Hetton inhabited by travellers, this car park is used frequently by anglers, families and dog owners.
The council should be investing resources in parks & recreation and small business to help the town thrive again and not encourage travellers who will not contribute to the local community and economy.

I have used this car park for many years and still myself and my family use it to walk around our lake. Not a appriate site it will end up littered and a mess if this os passedx

If this was the case why use an area that's already in use when you have a huge part of the quarry now just doing nothing

Being a frequent user of the car park and the lakeside onject to this proposal. I'm also a local resident and don't see any value in creating another site when you should be trying to promote the use of the lakes for community and local events

There needs to be a even spread across the whole region for the travellers to stay. we need investment into the local amenities in the Hetton area and not to be used as a dumping area?

100% against this! Hetton country park has experienced travellers in car parks before and the aftermath was horrendous! Dirty nappies etc left all over the place!
