I am fully vaccinated in HK and policies like this to lock up any resident because of a positive case in a building are simply demoralizing. I am terrified by the stress that would be caused being locked up for 21 or even 14 days. I personally have two cats and a terrace with plants to take care of by myself, with no family to help. Even for those of us doing diligence to stay safe would have no guarantee we wouldn't be locked up. I know I would feel much safer and more comfortable in my own home, and I hope the government will seriously reconsider what a difficult position this puts citizens in for very little (if no) societal protection.

The police are maintaining a presence outside Royalton anyway, so clearly a home quarantine could have been maintained at minimal additional cost, no additional exposure due to bundling into shuttle buses, and significantly less stress on children and parents

I am all for home quarantine. it is not reasonable to uproot a whole family from their home for almost a month when there are ways for them to safely quarantine at home where children can have some part of their normal life. It has been hard enough for our children this past year and they have been amazing and adaptable. It is not reasonable for them to have to sit through the 21 days in a unfamiliar environment away from home while home quarantine can be done at home.

Dear government. How are you going to achieve herd immunity through vaccination if you are discouraging people from getting vaccinated by putting fully vaccinated people into Quarantine Centres??

Greatly support to let pets stay with their owners while owners go into quarantine. It's cruel to separate pets from their owners.

We need to find the right balance between safety and respect for the people. Home quarantine is a reasonable, safe and more respectful way to tackle this situation.

Yea it’s common sense…why send a whole building somewhere when they are already in a building you can quarantine off
