HK Govt has to allow Home Quarantine - be prudent, logical and save resources

Please rethink your strategy of quarantine as we seem to be the only country in the world subject to this. The mental trauma of being in solitary confinement for 3 weeks due to possible exposure to a virus seems like an “excessive” step. Please rethink this strategy for the sake of our mental health, and allow us the option of completing quarantine within our homes. Thank you.

Home quarantine should be allowed, and those who have had two doses of an approved vaccine should not have to quarantine at all.

It is absolute madness to first force people to queue up in cramped lines to take the test, then cram them up in buses for hours before they are finally transported into cramped and poorly equipped QC. Dangerous, ineffective and waste of resources. Home quarantine it the only sensible option and I wish the government could see this. Also, what's the point of getting vaccinated if you are treated exactly the same as non-vaccinated people? Get your act together, HKGOV!

I think home quarantine is safer, sensible, uses less resources and better for ones mental health!!!! Especially allow for fully vaccinated people!

Some of us have difficult pets that would be traumatised if we abandoned them for that long. We don't need to be a nanny state - most adults can follow rules and stay indoors when necessary.

home Qt is logically and makes total sense. Its really absurd to expect people to stay in a hotel room for 3 weeks without fresh air and in some cases sunlight. It will make hk metal health problem even worse. Please end mandatory 3 week hotel jail esp for vacinated people

It would be a mature and rational decision to ease quarantine restrictions. Hong Kong needs to be more in step with other regions.

Many of the vaccines are highly effective. The only way out of this Covid period is via herd vaccination as well as masks etc. There is currently no incentive for the general population. PLEASE be liberal with the vaccinated where it is sensible (quarantine is a good example) in order to encourage more to take what they currently see as the greater risk.
