HK Govt has to allow Home Quarantine - be prudent, logical and save resources

Want is the point of us having our vaccine if we still have to be quarantined. Has anyone done any survey on what mental health has done on a 3 week quarantine for any age?

Home quarantine was possible 13 months ago for HK residents coming back. The technology is here (bracelets). Use it

Save Penny's Bay space to accommodate prison overflow as you lock up HK's youth and slowly turn HK into a concentration camp. Allow those you haven't incarcerated yet to just quarantine at home.

With baby, pets, elderly, best to do home quarantine in case of confirmed case in the building. No benefits doing it in a camp. ESP when residents have been vaccinated also.

Be considerate

Please allow home quarantine. We fully understand that it is may become necessary to be locked for up to 21 days for the good of the community. And we agree to do it. But at least let us still benefit from the comfort of our own home, be able to eat home cooked healthy food... By being able to take good care of ourselves at home, we will be less prone to become sick (physically and mentally).

The Pfizer vaccine has been shown in recent days to be effective against at least two Covid-19 variants. The government must allow home quarantine for vaccinated persons. Not only is the risk of transmission significantly lowered for vaccinated people, but requiring quarantine for vaccinated persons will deter citizens from getting vaccinated, and the vaccine uptake here is already too low. Furthermore, it is an overextension of government power to forcibly detain someone against their will if they have not committed any crime. Is being in the same apartment block as someone who contracts a virus now a crime? Many Hong Kong residents are already suffering mental health issues due to the pandemic. Confining people against their will in camps will only exacerbate these problems.

I am fully vaccinated and if I am not sick I should be allowed to quarantine in my very large flat that I occupy by myself.

Absolutely support home quarantine!

The manpower required for proper quarantine at home for the whole building is much less than that in the government quarantine centers.

This should be implemented and also if you have been vaccinated twice then you shouldn’t have to do this anyway!
