This is a chance to do something about BOA.s traffic problems which will be of great benefit ot residents of the town.

I fully support the Historic Core Zone. Current crossings are dangerous, and anything to reduce the domination of the traffic.

I want Bradford on Avon to be safer for pedestrians and for local businesses to thrive which will happen if the HCZ goes ahead.

It's about time BoA joined the 21st century. Most of the rest of the country has done so. The residents who object to modernisation presumably use modern technology, both inside and outside their homes, to live and get by, and more importantly to promulgate their messages of maintaining tradition. I would be prepared to support their cause if they in turn were prepared to forgo any technological development introduced after the main BoA building period.

Something needs to be done and soon. BoA is utterly pedestrian unfriendly. Trying to cross the main bridge without getting my head whacked off by a huge head level wing mirror on a truck or lorry is becoming hellishly difficult.
Traffic, traffic, traffic. It ruins the town and most of it is just using the town as a way to get to somewhere else.
I am not sure the plans are necessarily the best thing but they are worth a try. We absolutely must have a one way system too and traffic calming measures such as a very tasteful chicane of some sort to slow the traffic down.

We need to move away from the mentality that BOA must be preserved as a museum and any change is to be feared. The regeneration of the area and improved accessibility for pedestrians can only benefit BOA if it is to remain the vibrant working town we all love. I fully support the HCZ plans.
