It sounds wonderful. The chaotic traffic in the town centre makes me never want to go there again.

Alternatives have been comprehensively explored via a town wide consultation and extensive public and stake holder workshops and meetings. This scheme was the outcome. We must get behind the scheme or risk being left again in traffic chaos purgatory.

If we don't do this, it will be a one way system for Bradford-on-Avon which would create a huge race-track. This historic core zone is a must.

I know many people find change worrying and of course public safety is a major concern, but having seen video footage of a similar scheme elsewhere and having looked atthe plans in detail, I am convinced we should support this.

Isn't it time we stopped talking and consulting and just got on with what seems an obvious way forward in improving a chronic problem?

The middle of town is a mess, this is a fantastic way of making the most of the space for pedestrians and car users alike.

It's time to drag BoA out of the 1970s. We need a modern approach to traffic flow, to better cope with modern levels of traffic.

We need to implement this scheme not only for pedestrians but to support our shops in the town. We have no heart if our shops can't thrive. After all it worked well in Poynton so why not here

This is a well thought out plan that will make the centre of town much more accessible and provide a much needed boost for local business.

At the moment, the town is dangerous for pedestrians and really needs to have a plan to make the town more people friendly. It will boost the local economy and make it so much easier to shop and wander about safely. Cars have been given a priority in so many of our towns and its time to stop and shift priority back to people wanting to shop and browse rather than cars passing through
