This petition is to stop all states from making laws where ones legal status is a question. American citizens should not be subject to having to prove they are citizens, regardless of their race. I an American citizen urge you to sign this petition to stop us from being hassled each and every day by law enforcement officers. Please I ask that only U.S. citizens or legal immigrants from any country sign this petition. We has Americans should not be hassled to show we are in this country legally based solely on our race. The passing of laws like these only make it legal and easy for someone to be racist.
