With Sean we have energy and hope as we enter the new stadium. Way to ruin everything about starting in our new stadium by making it feel more like a funeral than a celebration. Please bring back Sean, who is truly a great man, great coach, and great leader. There is something seriously wrong with someone who wouldn’t want him as their leader. He is one of us, one of our community and if we can’t win a Super Bowl with him, than I don’t care to win one. Get him some more talent and he will win it all. The roster is the problem, it the coaching.

This one hurts.
We’re saying goodbye to a coach who didn’t just win games — he helped bring Buffalo back from the dead. Sean McDermott walked into a franchise that was lost, broken, and starving for respect, and he changed the damn culture. He gave this city belief again. He gave us pride again.
Through the highs and the heartbreak, through brutal losses and unforgettable wins, he stood in it with us. He took the heat, carried the weight, and never hid. He led with toughness, accountability, and heart — the same way this city lives every day.
Sean McDermott will be loved and missed by more people than he’ll probably ever realize. This locker room, this fanbase, and this city are better because of him. Period.
This isn’t goodbye — it’s I’ll see you later, Coach.
And make no mistake: whoever hires Sean McDermott is getting one hell of a football coach and an even better leader of men. Buffalo will never forget what you did here. Thank you for everything.
