After the end of cold war and consequent end of bi-polarised world order, India and Australia have come very close to each other. Recent nuclear deal signed between the two countries is a live example of that. Hindi as part of this initiative will further bring these two countries closer. Welcome to the land and language of Bollywood and a lot other, kids of modern day Australia.

Is the Indian Community really serious? Lear of so many Indian organizations formed and even if office bearers of these organization would have signed the petition, the number of petitions signed so far would have been more than seen as at this point of time. I appeal to these responsible office bearers to rise to the occasion than just holding the posts. Not even 250 petitions after a fortnight (:

Language is the most imp part of communication and depriving the children from learning a prominent language like Hindi is most unfortunate. It unquestonalbly needs recognition for learning by the kids.
