So...why hasn't something already been done? Let's get this petition on the road!

I have nearly been hit on numerous occasions at this intersection. A roundabout would be a great solution to this problem.

A mini van stopped & then went through the stop sign heading south on 20 to 4 & we (husband and both kids & I) would have been hit if husband didn’t swerve around mini van. We looked back and the mini van had stopped in the middle of the intersection (realizing what they’d done), almost cashing another accident.

Excellent idea . Way too dangerous especially in winter on Hwy 21.

Not a big fan of roundabouts but this would be the best solution in my mind.

I come through this intersection 5 days a week and am surprised that there is not fatalities regularly. People not signaling, weather etc..

Increasing the ramp distance from the North and shifting the exit lane to the west would defiantly help. This would give a defined lane of exit from Hwy# 21. Vehicles not using there signals is also part of the problem. This should be tried before a roundabout.

In my 12 years of taking this road I have found it difficult and dangerous. I believe a roundabout would definitely help and it should happen quickly.

There is a desperate need for a change at this intersection just like the one in Alvanley where I was involved in a car accident that totaled my vehicle and caused a lot of damage to a young person's vehicle and left them with a lifelong memory that could have ended drastically differently. I'm thankful we all walked away and that the changes were made to improve this intersection for the better. The same can be done here.

As someone who travels to the bruce site Via County road 20 - I fully support this request to improve this intersection. High volume of traffic and the rising/setting sun make navigating the crossing of Hwy 21 dangerous.

This is a very dangerous intersection. Something needs to be done before there are more casualties.

Very busy intersection. It is difficult to tell if vehicle is coming through down HWY 21 or will turn off to road 20. If not very careful wrong decision can be made. The intersection would benefit from a round about.

A busy intersection like this one warrants a roundabout.

Thank you Janet, We proposed rumble strips and a flashing light years ago, still no response. A roundabout is a great idea and works well in other countries.

I've had near misses myself and witnessed them on a weekly basis. This intersection is a nightmare, stop lights or a round about would seriously improve the safety of this intersection. The biggest problem with this intersection is the traffic coming from Port Elgin who are turning onto Bruce Road 20 towards Bruce Power. 1 out of 10 of them will use their signal light to enter the on-ramp. Which in turn, leaves folks who are travelling North looking to cross Hwy 21 to eventually just floor it to cross the highway because you never can tell if people are going straight through or if they are turning. With such a high volume of traffic coming from Port Elgin you could wait 15 minutes at that corner for traffic to clear since no one uses their signal light.

I support this. Lights should be added to this intersection.

The high traffic volume at certain times of the day create near miss situations. This will only get worse as refurbishment work starts in 2020.
