The intersection needs safety improvement

I cross this intersection every day and have seen many accidents and close calls.

great idea before someone gets hurt

Fix this before something bad happens.

I drive through this intersection daily and have for 15 years. I have witnessed several near misses here and I would love to see lights or a round about or any kind of improvement here!

2 years ago I had a near miss at this intersection. A car cut out in front of me- I swerved and ended up stopping right behind him. A traffic circle would be a great idea. I no longer drive through this intersection due to the risk.

I have witnessed several near misses at this intersection and have known fellow employees that have suffered severe injuries as a result of accidents at this intersection over my carrier at the Bruce Site.

I fully support this idea

This intersection would actually benefit from a round-about installation. Impatient people wanting to quickly cross or turn at this intersection have caused more than a few anxious moments for me.

I drive to by here everyday and see major fatal accidents many times a year. Safety of our community should be top priority, specially as this is a high traffic area.

its only a matter of time before the next fatal one...

As a first responder anything to make this intersection safer would be welcome for both the public and responder's safety.

A problem exists, and will become worse.

the southbound lane on 21 could use a longer and COMMITTED turning lane to Bruce Power. the turn lane should have a guard rail the entire way, and a long merge lane once heading west... if there was a guard rail there, people would clearly be in the left turn lane.

I thought about that potential issue too with a roundabout instead of a light.

I have almost been in two accidents at this intersection during 2018. I recommend a "round-a-bout". This intersection is only going to become more dangerous in the up coming years.

I am 100% for this! My wife and I cross this intersection everyday and I have even seen an accident happen there right in front of me. A set of lights would be the safest solution with leaving the right turn ramp for people coming south from the Port Elgin way. Don't let a life be lost before something is done about this!

This is way over due and needs immediate attention.
