Balltown, IA The truck stop and North Cascade Rd area seems particularly dangerous much of the time.

I drive from Dubuque to Peosta for work and have seen many accidents. Speed limit should be 55 from Dubuque to Peosta. Too many people driving way too fast and on cell phones. The funny part is that people will pass me at the truck stop and by the time we reach the off ramp in Peosta, I have caught up to them anyhow. The extra speed doesn't gain them anything.

Having totaled my car at the Cox Springs intersection and traveling to and from many grandchildren activities, I would truly support any changes that can be made on this stretch of highway.

I Drive that route every day, with no other real option available. It is extremely unsafe, all because of the in and out traffic from the gas station.

This area is very dangerous, to many accidents to count. Lives lost needlessly.

making a left turn is nearly impossible. I have two daughters,1 son-in-law, and 3 grandchildren that use this intersection 5 days a week. please make change before something happens to a loved one. that goes for all the people that use this intersection.

There are over 300 homes in the area of Burds Acres, Thunder Hills, and Thunder Ridge with only 1 exit via Thunder Hills Rd to Hwy 20. There are at least 2 cars per household leaving & returning daily for work, school, etc..This is not the 1990s with only 1/3 of the population compared to today. This should be a top priority.

Please consider making these improvements as a high priority for the IDOT.

I've witnessed too many near accidents on this bend of Hwy 20. Nothing like coming up on a semi straddling the hwy in fog and rain. It's a white knuckle stretch that needs to be addressed now. Are we waiting for yet another news story reporting an accident/fatality? Thank you to the party responsible for starting this petition. Your call to action is vital and refreshing.

High traffic fatalities, and accidents on this stretch of highway. No exit ramps leading to and from truck stop and heavy populated sub-divisions.

Make Hwy 20 Dubuque Safe. Hwy 20 intersect with Northwest Arterial. They should had put cloverleaf's,roundabouts entering and exiting each others, At present, all the red lights slow traffic down tremendously on Hwy 20 and the Northwest Arterial. It makes the roads dangerous and unsafe.

Very dangerous area that needs to be marked as a priority. Trucks leaving the truck stop do not care about pulling out and stopping traffic. Something major will happen if not fixed.

I had a car totaled after someone pulled on to Hwy 20 at Swiss Valley Rd attempting to turn west. Luckily no injuries because I was alert enough to slam on the brakes and caught the rear quarter panel. Please fix this very dangerous stretch of Highway 20!

For the past ten years that I have been commuting to/from Peosta and Dubuque, I have been in at least one near-crash by the truck stop per year. That area is frankly the only area I use my horn. A frontage road with an exit/entrance ramp needs to be created for this area.

This is an area which needs serious and immediate consideration for improvements for driver safety.

Yes, something needs to be done for the safety of our drivers on Hwy 20.

Please consider adding the Swiss Valley Road to your petition. The exit road east is way too short, especially in bad weather.
