Block schedule is beneficial to us students in so many ways! Why take away those advantages and make it harder for the students?

For real, I'm about to cry if block schedule doesn't come back. This is the only reason I came to HHS, is because I don't get so stressed going homework for all 8 classes (and also the med academy, but they are taking shit out from that too, like wtff). Sorry for the profanity, but it was needed. Like I really need block schedule, I don't have all day and night for school and it's never going to be like that, so who ever came up with this petition, I love you. And I thank you so much. Cause all of us right now need this in our school life.

Block scheduling has benefited the students of Hightower so much. Rather than just 50-55 minutes per class period, we get 90 min of class every other day. in these 90 minutes we have more time for tests, labs, class discussions, and comprehending our curriculum. We also have an extra day for homework and other assignments. Going back to a 7 period schedule will be a drastic change in how students will manage their time and scheduling. We're already usef to Block Scedule. Might as well keep it that way.

I think we should keep block schedule because it makes it way easier for people to study for test and quizzes. I believe if they take away block schedule more pre-ap students would have a lot of stress and fail more because they wouldn't have enough time to study.

I'm a student at Hightower high school and I've can you from other schools that have regular schedule. Hightower allows me to get all my work done and being a part of the Academy's helps me make sure everything is done orderly and efficiently.

Bruh, I am not dealing with running to classes and doing a lot of homework every freaking day. Block schedule is a life improvement. I get more out of my classes since they're long we finish notes instead of stopping and picking it up where we left off the next day, which causes me to forgot. Look all I'm saying is if you take block schedule away from me, you take away my happiness, and that really sucks.

As a student, the concept of block scheduling was one of the bonuses this school had to offer that affected my decision of coming here. The idea of a stress free schedule is enticing to students and parents. Block scheduling gives students more time to complete homework, compared to other high schools. It also promotes efficiency, because students are more likely to take their time to complete the assignment and understand it rather than rush through it, cramming seven classes. Block scheduling is what makes Hightower unique, so it shouldn't have to comply with the rest of the District schools. Just the fact that block scheduling has implemented itself into our program for 17 years and has proven to be successful, shows it shouldn't be taken away.

The block schedule at Hightower is very important, I feel that if Hightower .Switches to a regular school schedule going to seven peeiods a day woukd be.The wron idea the block schedule is a postive and helpful thing to the students I can say for myself that I learn more in hour and thirty minutes. Then i would do in a 45 minutes class period it is a strees reliver you have more time to do homework and actually put foward an effort . Haveing that longer class period is very benifical and i dont think it woukd be right to take away somthing a school has been doing for the past 17 years if any thing other schools.Should join Hightower in the block schedule please dont take that away
