Block Scheduling makes everything SO MUCH EASIER. As if taking academy classes and attempting to take away the academies and not to mention trying to phase out the academies wasn't/isn't bad enough, now they're trying to take away block scheduling. If they do so, they're going to seriously mess up everything. JUST PLEASE STOP SCREWING AROUND WITH THINGS OR IT'LL GET SCREWED UP!!!

I believe that we actually benefit from block scheduling because students at Hightower have more time to learn in the classroom and to finish up assignments/homework. Changing this without the students and parents' consent is disrespectful and taking away our block schedule could result in some people actually not graduating. Some students actually need that 8th class to receive all the correct amount of credits. The school wouldn't function properly just because of the courses we have on our campus. We need longer class periods for a reason; We aren't like most campuses.

Block Schedule has helped us a lot this year. As a freshman coming from 8th grade, it has been a struggle with 7 periods everyday. Block Schedule helps us stay organized, less stressful, and helps maintain our grades very well. All of us at HHS would love if we kept block schedule as many of us are benefited from it.
