Because we are already used to having a block schedule, I find it highly unprofessional to change that when we have already created a system for our methods of study. As a freshman, I believe that the block schedule should change,as we do not need to make such drastical changes to HHS.

The "extended opportunities" seem completely contradictory to how its purpose was for Heath Science rotations. The revertion denies the amount of time and over dillutes the purpose or academies. Hightower should maintain its block schedule to make its best experience for all.

They shouldn't remove he block schedule system, it's too late to change it. All of our student body has adapted to this system and adapting to a new one is going to be hard, it was hard going from 7 classes in one day to 4 in two. We have worked hard to adapt our own schedule to this one, including study time, homework time and class time. Having 90 minute periods are so beneficial to us, we have more time to understand everything in one day. This is also preparing us for the schedule we will one day have in college. This prepares us to be able to measure and use our time wisely. We have more time to be ahead, to take extra classes and or AP courses. I think the last thing Hightower needs is a drastic change like that, our student body is prepared for.

Don't change anything that doesn't need fixing. Block schedule benefits many it's unfair to the students and the faculty that you decide to change it without our knowledge. I mean i wanted change but not like this. This is not a nice way to start my senior year off.

Block Scheduling makes everything SO MUCH EASIER. As if taking academy classes and attempting to take away the academies and not to mention trying to phase out the academies wasn't/isn't bad enough, now they're trying to take away block scheduling. If they do so, they're going to seriously mess up everything. JUST PLEASE STOP SCREWING AROUND WITH THINGS OR IT'LL GET SCREWED UP!!!
