I live in Enterprise, MS and we can only get DSL through AT&T which is subpar and costs us almost $60 a month. We would benefit greatly from high speed Internet in our area. I serve in the Board of Alderman in Enterprise, and this was brought up in our last meeting briefly. Please let me know if there is more if I can do to help push this through.
Thanks in advance,
Talmadge Gray

We live 10 miles from a major city and have no high speed internet. Actually we have neighbors that have it within a mile of our home.

I would like a higher internet service provider in Polkville MS plus would like the option of ATT services. I can only use TEC out of Baysprings as my provider which does not offer a real fast internet service for my home.

Oh my word! It's hard to try to communicate when everything is technical and you have no means of participating! High speed internet would be an amazing blessing! Let's get this done!

It's horrible out in the country for cell phones and we can't get Wi-Fi due to being to far out, or so they say.

We need better cell phone service in rural areas as well as internet options. There is nothing available in my area.

We need more options! AT&T says they are out of room and satellite isn’t cutting it.

The lack of reliable internet service is rural communities puts students in those areas at a significant disadvantage. Many courses have ebooks and electronic communication with at least a partial online component. Children who do not have internet access in their homes are unable to access the information or complete assignments at home. The demand has increased every year however the current internet providers have been unable to bridge the gap and expand high speed internet to the rural communities. Children many times have to be driven into town to an area that has free wi fi or hope that they can be taken to the library during library hours. For parents who work this makes things extremely difficult for those students.

It is imperative that rural communities have access to internet that is not only affordable but high speed. Our children do not use textbooks anymore. All of their books and assignments are on computers now. If we expect children in rural communities to succeed and be able to compete with their counterparts in the metro areas they have to be able to use the services provided by the internet.
