As long as rural electric coops are not allowed, big telecoms will drag their feet on provision. Also, I will donate against lawmakers who vote against this.

We live not even five minutes outside the city limits of Starkville and are only offered a hotspot from local internet providers. We would love another option over satellite options

It's so sad when AT&T can deny customers services and then deny access from other sources. It's time for a HUGE change.

It's time to allow competition to the telecoms who refuse to properly serve rural customers with true broadband internet. AT&T (in my area) has not enhanced or expanded coverage in years, and there are no competing options.

No brainer! I'm a school administrator with a large percentage of our student body living in rural areas. This would be a game changer!

This should have begun 10 years ago. Lack of high speed Internet access across the state for ALL citizens is a national embarassment. High speed Internet is essential for every person for a myriad of reasons in the information age. DO IT NOW!

Internet is the infrastructure of the future, and Mississippi needs to stay up-to-date or else our state will suffer as a whole.
