This is a win-win situation: a boon for co-ops and rural folks alike. Knowledge is power, and we live in the Information Age. We need to empower ALL Mississippians with information access to enable a stronger economy.

Even with E-Rate subsidies, AT&T refuses to do this and is basically relying on inferior wireless technology. I know AT&T puts money in your pocket but if they do not want to fool with it, why not give others a chance?

There are far too many people served by rural coops that are left behind by traditional phone and cable companies for broadband access. It's time to change things up and give them a little competition.

We live in the Glade community in Jones County and I work from home which is very difficult because we can’t get high speed cable internet.

ATT has been around forever and they don't provide internet to most people on rural cooperatives. Get rid of archaic laws and open the market.

Stop doing AT&T's bidding. Do something for Mississippi's citizens - you know, the people who hired you and whom you are supposed to represent.

We can’t allow traditional telecoms to provide subpar services at unreasonable rates. Our country has the broadband penetration rates of 3rd world nations thanks to the telecom monopolies!
