I appose this bio lagoon development. I live in Sprotbrough and work at Warmsworth this is not something I want near my home! The smell was awful last week!

I live on hangman stone lane and effected already with awful smells. Some days are so bad I have to close my windows and doors, as it's so strong and over powering. I wanted to live in a lovely country setting but did not expect to have to endure this. I have been unable to walk my dog some days as the smell is so strong, so have to walk else where. If the farmer wanted an open lagoon- he should of put it his won back yard and not mine. Disgusted!

I have grave concerns about the impact that this will have on the local environment. Being a resident of Sprotbrough Village I value having access to the local and surrounding areas of countryside, the river and lakes including the natural wildlife all of which I fear will be affected by the proposed plans. The smells emitted from the facility will undoubtedly affect the air and the quality of life that my family and I enjoy outdoors. Additionally I am unsure as to the changes that this may make to the air quality. I have further concerns about how the facility may attract unwanted pests into the area and the impact this may have on the natural wildlife in the area including that at Sprotbrough Flash Nature Reserve. The introduction of these animals will certainly affect the local ecosystem and food chain. I am also unsure as to the impact this will have on through traffic. I have two young children that attend the local school and at times volume of traffic can be increased due to the expanse of local business and through traffic from surrounding areas. This makes roads unsafe and I wonder how trucks travelling to and from the facility may add to this. I hope that my concerns will be carefully considered. Regards Benjamin Jones

I totally oppose this proposal. I cannot believe that anyone would unless they have some financial gain and live miles away!

How offensive to even propose it. This guy thinks he is above all other businesses and residents.

This will have a negative affect upon all local communities. The smells experienced recently were appalling and I can't see any prof that the gases released form such lagoons aren't harmful

This will negatively affect the residents of all local villages, are the gases or noxious smells that are release proven not to be harmful to those ingesting it?

May concern is how this application has gone unnoticed for so long? Questions need to be asked to our Councillors, Parish Council and MPs. A proposal such as this will have far reaching effects on all aspects of community life, business, residential and leisure persuits will all be negatively affected if this Planning application goes through.

I protest against the proposed bio-fertiliser lagoon in High Melton. I have concerns over: 1. Increased traffic on country lanes and through conservation areas. 2. Stenches from an open lagoon. 3. Vermin including gulls which can affect local wildlife. Etc.
