I love my job , I work in a facility as well in homes. My previous job was of 23 yrs of physical labor with higher pay of course and never did I work as hard or not be able to lift my legs into my car at the end of the shift as I do as a CNA but I love my job and the care I can give to others

We are under paid and under appreciated, however I love taking care of my residents, all 14 of them and sometimes more. It is a hard field to be in emotionally, physically, and mentally. If you have never seen a nurses aide in action please visit your loca nursing home.

Stnas definitely deserve more pay.we pretty much do all the work. Most nurses only distribute their medication. We are their voice. Caregiver. Shrink. Companion. And whatever else they want us to be. I love my career as an stna its not just a job or paycheck. I enjoy doing it. Because I know one day I'm gonna need that help

We miss holidays, time with our families, meals, bathroom breaks & bend over backwards to make sure these people get the right care & not to mention TONS of hours only to get the short end of the stick. We deserve more, after all we keep these places running!
