Seeing this momentum grow has been overwhelming because I still remember the heartbreak I felt watching that video. It proves that so many of you refuse to accept such a lenient outcome for what happened to that poor kitten. Reading your messages gives me hope that we can finally see real consequences for this cruelty.

Absolute joke of a sentence. My heart breaks for that poor kitten. These people should never be allowed near an animal ever again.
Disgusting. People like this are a danger to society and the fact they have a child makes me so worried.
VILE. I hope they never get a good nights sleep after what they did to that poor thing.
Pathetic sentencing. They should be banned for life. Simple as that.

How can anyone be this cruel? Laughing while they hurt something so small. They deserve prison time not a tiny fine.
