I current get only 1.7 meg download and 0.3 meg upload. It's absurd and unacceptable.

This crazy!!!! Used to have 6 meg in 2002, 12 years on and I'm back there after moving to Barnet. Gov commitments in regards to high speed broadband??? Fast BB on my 4g phone, what a joke!!!!!!

Recently moved to Chiiping Barnet in the expectation that BT's online fibre availability checker was telling the truth when it said my cabinet would be fibre-enabled by the end of September 2014. It even listed the fibre speeds exepected to be available 'by September'. It wasn't available then and now the availability checker says there's no predicted availability date. I moved from a fibre connection - I wouldn't have moved to Barnet if I'd known the BT checker wasn't truthfully predicting availability.
