Please follow the official plan. Stand up for collingwood. Don’t be bullied by the developers. This development is too high with too many people, no place to park the 234 cars. It will cause chaos, endanger wildlife and people. Think about what you are agreeing to. Protect our environment.

High density living in this area will create the following problems for the town as well as the citizens in this area:
(1) Traffic problem, more cars and insufficient parking, chances of more traffic accidents.
(2) Environmental deterioration to the sensitive wetland nearby and lake area.
(3) High probability of social problems & conflicts in the area.
(4) Deterioration of Collingwood traditional, calm, peaceful and beautiful living environment which is the foundation of attracting new settlers to the town.
The economic benefit is likely to be affected by the problems to be created by high density living in the area especially along and close to the lake area.

I am concerned that the development will create tremendous traffic congestion in the area. This will impact the safety of drivers and pedestrians alike. I am concerned that this super high density development, if approved, will serve as a gateway to further super high density development in the town.

Please don’t build this high rise building. With this building the area traffic would increase, the existing roads are not ready to support this size of building with the amount of people who would be coming into town

The per person density and lack of immenitiies for a property of this size is incomprable for the town of Collingwood and should not be allowed by council and town planners.
