swamp areas aren’t meant for homes only natural vegetation and animals. Hwy 26 is already too busy.

HWY 26 is already too busy. Not a great idea to build in a swamp area. I live across the street and most of my neighbours have problems with water

There is no reasonable or good reason whatsoever fo grant a variance and every reasonable and good reason for refusing the application. The proposed density is outrageous and unjustified. This is a cash grab without regard for the environment or good planning. Please act responsibly in the discharge of your duties and your responsibilities to the people and environment of Collingwood.

The existing zoning is there for a reason, to provide a mix between development needs and protection of the environment. Surely one of the responsibilities of council is to enforce the Official plan, not to change it to line the pockets of property developers

Development preceding infrastructure improvements (roads, etc.) is a major problem and should be addressed before commitments are made.

We are ruining Collingwood with all this growth, it's no longer the quaint town it was. Also, the traffic is horrible now trying to get out onto 26 and into town.
Stop this disaster before it happens!
