High Density Glow in Collingwood

This high density development is utterly inappropriate for this location. Due to a slew of additional problems kindly either cease this project or re-locate it to a more suitable location.

6 stories is too high - MAX 4. Runoff drainage to the north onto LHP property likely an issue. Town councillors need to be held to account on this development.

Absolutely against overpopulating the area with these high density buildings .

Council needs to seriously re-examine all the rules/bylaws that this proposal wants amended. The proposal needs major revisions.

This high density development as proposed is not feasible in this area.

Collingwood Town Council…the town has a master plan, and this requested density exemption is way out of bounds. Please take time to review the Glow proposal carefully before making a decision that will impact generations to come. Thank you.

Cash in exchange for park land is not a good long term planning solution. Children need space. Historically Social problems will arise from high density housing.

This kind of development in the Town of Collingwood should not even get a hearing by Town Council.

Please do not approve as submitted. At a minimum, reduce the height by 1-2 floors. This will reduce the count and density by 36-72 units. With the current parking design as submitted, this will be address parking for remaining 158 or 122 units.

Very concerning a new condo development in Collingwood would be allowed without including green space in its plan

My concerns are accurately detailed in the Petition. I would hope a Developer’s wants would not supersede the Collingwood’s Official Plan which is based on protecting what is best for Collingwood and it’s residents as a whole

These wetlands, and all the environmental benefits enjoyed by both the inhabitants of and neighbouring individuals, would be put in jeopardy if such grossly over built High Density Buildings were allowed on this small footprint. Just say "NO"!!!

I support this petition and am concerned about the effects of this development on the ecosystem in Collingwood.

There is no need for a development with such high density in an area away from the centre of the city. It will create a serious problem with the wet lands, and is not viable given the high value condo projects adjacent or near to this project, ie pick somewhere else where people can walk to get their groceries, etc.

Too many cars on Hwy 26 now. Will be brutal navigating the stop lights going to 1st Street. Enough already. I have seen the disastrous result of over development in The Villages, FL. and sadly Collingwood/BM is heading down the same path.
