This proposal threatens the health and safety of the Collingwood community as a whole.
Why is this only for profit business being given an opportunity to put the community at risk.
There are bylaws for a reason. If these bylaws can be completely ignored than why is there a town council.
Please stop this madness.

This is absolutely RIDICULOUS. They are asking for this in the hopes that they get even more than what they should. They know this won’t pass but they are probably happy with 1/2 of what they’ve asked for. Lighthouse point is highly sought after as it provides beautiful green spaces around each condo development. I don’t want Collingwood to be a concrete jungle. It’s already over developed with high density neighbourhoods which although great for taxes makes the place look so unsightly in some areas. This town has beautiful potential getting stripped away at. Time to stop all the craziness that has happened over the past 20 years and thoughtfully develop a beautiful location.

How can we support this change to a much higher density? The Hwy 26 study already shows that this only highway cannot support current density. No high rises!

Stop the Glow residential development. Stop developments that clearcut the tree canopy and destroy wetlands and ecosystems. Collingwood town council needs to be the leader and champion of sustainable development including developments. The Glow development is the complete the complete opposite of that. The structure does not complement and support the environment and the density is too high while simultaneously destroying the existing ecosystem.

Besides the above high density, there will also be extra noise pollution to the LHP residents that own properties closest to the project. Removal of the existing trees and parkland will drive away the animals like the huge variety of birds, rabbits, squirrels, chipmunks, turtles and occasional deer. Removal of existing trees will also invade the privacy of all owners at LHP especially the west side as the trees are not being replaced instead there will be concrete walls with balconies overlooking LHP properties an removing enjoyment of nature and fresh air.

There is no parking in their plans for second cars or guests. Where are they going to park, on HWY 26. Don't send them to Lighthouse. We need to be allowed to have a gated community. JOHN
