Hidden Valley Lake Water Moratorium

There is plenty of water , I want to know who started this whole water moratorium. I want a name. I think it is time we pay this individual a visit.

I am wondering the ultimate goal in maintaining a water moratorium on legally owned properties in an area that is no longer subject to drought and restricting those with a legal right to their property development. WHY? what is the end game on this?

Our lot is not only useless but is a financial liability for property taxes, HOA dues which offer no service and the need for fire prevention maintenance. We aren't even allowed to camp on our lot. Please let Moratorium.

IT TIME TO LIFT THE MORATORIUM.

We've been paying dues since 2001 and we want to sell the lot or build a house on it but with this moratorium it has lost all its worth. Lift it now!

Please help us. The moratorium has been in effect since 2015.

It's time NOW to lift the water meter moratorium on all the HVL lots. The criteria is over and you should re-evaluate your reasons and change this. Thank you, JackCain

I bought my lot from builders who were surveying...thought I had a meter already. Now it's useless w/o water....

I have two undeveloped lot's and two developed lots. Our HOA continues to raise dues to keep up with cost of living. We are committed to maintain even undeveloped lots due to HOA bi-laws. With the dues, taxes and upkeep a lot of people are walking away from there properties. This creates additional fire hazards and additional burden on the HOA staff.

We love our Hidden Valley Lake Community as it offers an affordable lifestyle with amenities for all ages. I've lived owned my home since 1999. Many of my friends and family members also invested in Hidden Valley Lake by purchasing a lot with a plan to develop their dream home. Please remove this moratorium and give those wanting to build their dream home - new hope.

Lots are virtually worthless at this point yet our HOA fee's continue to rise.

Our family has owned this property for over 30 years. We pay for weed abatement, taxes and HVLA dues. This is totally unfair. What good is a lot that you can't build on?

I owned the lot for more than 35 years, and now for retirement I was planning to build, but with the totally ridiculous water moratorium, my dream is shattered. There is a shortage of houses, and the drought is officially over, it is now time for Sacramento politicians to do the right thing, lift the moratorium once and for all, and allow people to build again. Time to stop keeping vacant lots hostage and still collect HOA fees and property taxes for something that keeps losing value due to the moratorium.

Without a water permit my lot is made worthless. That constitutes a taking without compensation. Please restore my property rights.

I own 3 lots in Hidden Valley that I bought as investments over 15 years ago. I intended to either build a house on them to sell or just sell the lots at a decent profit. Then came 2008 - no one will be buying for quite a long time. Then just when I thought I could finally sell them a few years ago, the water dept. killed any chance of even selling them at a loss. Who buys a lot or house where you can't have water! It now costs me about $4500.00 for HVLA dues and another $3600.00 for property taxes every year! Please relieve me and the many others in a similar situation from this awful burden! H. Bettin

I have owned my lot for close to 50 years. It would be nice if it was sellable with water.
