Hidden Valley Lake Water Moratorium

This is highway robbery! Our State continues to suffer from the stupidity and laziness of bureaucrats. LIFT THIS RIDICULOUS MORATORIUM NOW! Tired of paying assessments and taxes on “worthless dirt” as defined by some genius in Sacramento.

Do we just pay, pay, pay without any representation, a say, or due process?

Definitely lift the moratorium. Many lot owners would like to build or sell to builders, especially with me Valley Oaks development opening in this area soon.

No water moratorium is needed at this time. Lift it.

So one side of the barbed wire fence is cool with 300 new homes, stores. The other side of the barbed wire fence is a hell no!! Makes no sense.

I have a worthless lot without a meter

Seems outrageous that Valley Oaks will have use of hidden valley lake water that their own residents doesn’t have use off.

I am a 56 year old contractor who purchased this lot I own in HVL. I purchased it to build my retirement home for my wife and myself. Now, I pay $151. per month ( they just RAISED the dues ) go figure that one. I am locked into a property that has no value to me. How can I continue to pay for street and road upkeep and security in HVL when I am not allowed to use any of the. How about a moratorium on HOA DUES... Please help resolve this very tough issue for us.

My feeling is that HLV has the obligation to provide water to lots that otherwise are worthless and owners are expected to continue to pay homeowners' fees on lots they cannot build and retire to. HVL needs to cancel all financial requirements on lots that cannot be used. Until such time the water moratorium is lifted, this should be the case.

I think it is unfair and possibly illegal to require lot owners to pay homeowners fees based upon the original acquisition of a lot that once had the potential for water to be supplied to it. Now I pay homeowners fees on lots that have a water moratorium on them. Just had an interested party offer to purchase one of my lots and buyer learned about the moratorium and is no longer interested therefore my lots have become worthless and I continue to pay homeowners fees on lots that are not supplied by water but once had the implication for doing so.

Lift the unwarranted water meter moratorium.

It has been long enough, solve the problem.

Please remove this restriction on our home owners and lot owners. I have two lots as one with one meter, but would like to subdivide, but I cannot due to the Moratorium. Do what is the correct, by removing the Moratorium. Thank you!

I am the Vice President of the Hidden Valley Lake Association and I can attest to the burden this moratorium has placed not only on the property owners but on the financial health of the community as a whole. Please end this injustice.
