Pursuant to Article Two, Section 5 of the bylaws of the Hyland Hills Jr. Hockey Association, listed below for reference, and section 7-127-102 of the Colorado Nonprofit Corporation Act, the undersigned hereby request a Special Meeting of the membership of Hyland Hills Jr. Hockey Association be held for the purpose on reinstating Brian Sutton as the Executive Hockey Director of Hyland Hills Jr. Hockey Association for the duration of the 2009 - 2010 season, as enumerated by and defined in his previously executed contract. Article Two, Section 5. Special Meetings. Special Meetings of the members may be called by petition to the Secretary by at least 20% of the membership. The Secretary shall verify all signatures on the petition as members in good standing. Upon such verification, notification of such a meeting shall be mailed to HHHA members by regular U.S. mail no later than (30) days in advance of this meeting. The undersigned further mandate that the signature verification process prescribed by the bylaws be completed within (3) business days after the receipt of this petition, that notification be mailed via regular U.S. mail to the members forthwith (within (2) business days) upon the completion of the signature verification process, and that the Special Meeting be held (30) days thereafter. Should the Hyland Hills Hockey Jr. Hockey Association take the full amount of time deemed by the undersigned to be reasonable, as enumerated above, after receiving this petition on November 10, 2009, the Special Meeting may be held no later than December 17, 2009.
