Better signage is needed on the duel carriage way of 30 mph needed between the Silverdale island and Compton acres. People think it’s 60

Wilford Lane is already becoming seriously over crowded. There have been many delays and disruption over the past 4or 5 years. Give us a break! It is becoming too risky

Recently there have been enormous HGVs parked up on the Wilford Road junction with Loughborough Road, causing disruption and blockages that is unacceptable on a road with two schools

Too much traffic on Wilford Lane already. Not suitable for HGVs. Reduces the quality of life of residents.

This B road is not suitable for the number of HGV’s using it. Any additional vehicles will have an adverse effect of the road surface and the safety of residents and school children in the vicinity.

As a Wilford Lane resident potential increase in hgv traffic causes me great concern. The road is not designed to take the amount of traffic currently using it let alone more large hgv traffic. Already it frightens me seeing some of the lorries speeding down the road especially where the footpath is narrow and I have my young children with me. An accident waiting to happen.

West Bridgford is already pretty congested with traffic. Wilford Lane provides a trunk road to both A52 and A453 currently and is not big enough to cope with this traffic flow. Further traffic and a greater number of HGVs will contest the road further and make traffic much worse in WB.
I wouldn't be too happy walking my two young children down Wilford Lane with significantly more traffic passing through.

No...just No! The problem here is just where will they go if they don't use Wilford Lane though? As a resident the traffic is bad enough. I appreciate it is a main road and links out to the 453, however where the road passes schools and residential properties (near the Rivermead) it would be useful to have speed humps or a better enforced Speed limit, maybe average speed cameras.. and certainly down to 20mph by the residential properties, Nursery and Schools.

It's already too busy and noisy during the day. Peak hours especially. Night time would be worse and disturb residents even more so.
