Heavy goods vehicles are dangerous to children through their noxious exhaust emission and any pedestrians crossing.

I live on Ruddington lane and the Lorries are damaging the road , these are mostly the Gypsum Lorries taking short cuts , should be a weight restriction on Ruddington lane and Wilford . Access for deliveries to local business’s needs to be allowed .

There’s an increasingly dangerous amount of HGV’s on Wilford & Ruddington Lane, I don’t feel safe walking on the pavement with my children as they come zooming along!! NG11 7DL

Are house already shakes, we can feel our furniture move when HGV vehicles pass down Wilford Lane. We would be worried about the damage it’s causing to our property plus the noise.

Highways England must recognise the impact its scheme will inevitably have on Wilford Lane and enforce a weight restriction accordingly.

This is 30 mph residential area. I have lived on Wilford lane for 26 years. The traffic over the past few years has become horrendous due to all the new developments. I strongly agree to this petition as the HGVs speeding through all night long causes noise and pollution also shaking the properties. By them using Wilford lane as a shortcut just adds to the problem. There are other routes and HGVs should be completely banned apart from deliveries.

Weight limit at 7.5 ton would be fine.
