If this petition succeeds one result will be to increase heavy goods vehicle traffic on Ruddington Lane. Those of us who live on Ruddington Lane already suffer from the noise, vibration and pollution from excessive heavy goods traffic . I would sign this petition if it covered Wilford Lane betrween West Bridgford and the mini island giving access to the A52 eastbound.

Wilford Lane is very congested and dangerous to pedestrians. Vehicular traffic has been over the capacity of the road for several years and to protect the health and safety of the residents it should be subject to a ban on HGV’s with immediate effect

With current traffic use and all the proposed new building producing even more vehicles this Wilford Lane/Radcliffe Road route will become impassable unless HGV are banned

Must include Ruddington Lane in this restriction plan else will create even more rat-run traffic on even smaller and more residential roads than Wilford Lane. Heavy Goods Vehicles should only be allowed anywhere in the country on A and M roads except for access to premises.

As a resident of Compton acres very concerned about volume of traffic on wilford Lane now new estate built and more houses shops and pub planned. The single lane road is not big enough . Constant pollution and traffic jams.

It is a very busy road with frequent traffic jams for drivers. This is getting worse since many new houses have been built by the Lane. It is dangerous especially as there are schools in the area so rerouting heavy vehicles should be a priority.
