I would also like to see more female charcter in general, not JUST Leia. They finally ceeated female Stormtroopers, TIE Pilots, even an Imperial Moff in the Legacy comic books, not to mention Leia piloting Rebel fighters. There are also precious few human female Jedi as well. Hopefully in the new movies Leia is a Jedi as well.

No Leia merch yet or planned, but there's Jawa and Chewbacca plushes already. That speaks volumes. We want Leia!

And Disney, when you do, please don't reduce Leia action figures etc to outfit and make up dolls; toy companies seem to think is all female characters are good for and we are all tired of it!

Princess Leia has always been my favorite. I hope children everywhere will be able to choose to play with such a strong female character.

I have been a Leia fan all my life. I collect anything I can get with Leia on it... and I used to think that Disney would be the place where I would get support for that. Not only Leia - but Disney needs to step up and include Star Wars gear for girls AND add in the new women of Star Wars (Clone Wars, Rebels, etc) as soon as they can!
