Princess Leia is a major character in Star Wars, so therefore it's absolutely perplexing this seeming refusal to make toys based on her. Star Wars should be about diversity, there are just as many female fans as there are male. I'd hope that Disney don't further risk alienating the Star Wars female fan base.

Why can't there be a princess leia action figure? It makes no sense, we want a strong awesome female role model for our kids! Not the slave outfit one either!

Leia is just as important to Star Wars as Luke. We don't just want Leia, WE NEED LEIA!!!! Star Wars bridges any gender divide, Star Wars is for boys and girls.

Leia is just as important as Han and Luke. Why do characters like random stormtrooper and TIE Fighter pilot get merchandise, but not one of the essential characters from the saga? That's just plain wrong. FIX THIS!
