We, the students of Nursing 203, strongly protest against the unfair HESI examination's eligiblity criteria of the Advance Medical Surgical Nursing course. All of the students deserve a fair chance to take the HESI examination to ultimately demonstrate a full comprehensive nursing knowledge of the course. However, the grading system impedes the students the potential to demonstrate such knowledge.
We are targeting signatures of all students currently enrolled in Nursing 203.
We, the undersigned, are concerned students who urge our deans to act now to:
1) Allow all Nursing 203 students to take the HESI Exam.
2) Evaluate the final grade of Nursing 203 students based on the combined scores of the HESI exam and the scores received leading up to the exam.
We, the students of Nursing 203, demand equal and fair chance of passing the Advance Medical Surgical Nursing course.
The administration keeps ignoring us but your stories show just how much this grading policy is hurting our progress. I am exhausted from the constant back and forth but I refuse to let them shut us out of the chance to prove what we know.

This grading system is honestly so broken. We put in all this hard work just to be barred from taking the exam? Let us show what we actually learned.

RIDICULOUS. Why make it so hard to pass? We are trying to become nurses not jump through impossible hoops.
