Thank you for writing and signing. I signed this petition because of a conversation i had with Stephanie and Wy at the cookout and he told me a lot of students have law suits and petitions against the Hesi company because it is not a nationally recognized test and the questions have nothing to do with nursing.

Losing alot of qualified students due to this testing . Some people test well, some don't, doesn't make them any unqualified for this compassionate field that they so deserve.

I have taken this Hesi so many times and my scores never go up and it also has nothing to do with Nursing (any of my questions). To just get into the program in Rhode Island. I was actually accepted into a Nursing program at St. Joseph's Nursing school and paid over $1000 to take a class i didnt need to get into their program then i had to retake the HESI to get an 80% cumulative to be accepted (yes i received and acceptance letter already) and paid entrance fee. Then because i missed Hesi by 2 points i got denied and received no money back. Now i have applied to CCRI numerous times at 47 with a GPA 3.4 and all A's and one B and still not in because of this HESI. Something needs a change. HESI IS KEEPING ME FROM MY DREAM!

I hate that we pay all this money and put all our time into nursing school. And they let us fail because of a hesi, and ati exit exams. So sad.

Very unfair practices. Portion of school does not get the HESI weighted against their final grade but another portion of the school does. How is that fair?

I agree this is absurd!
I think that these "gate" HESI test are for the sole interest of the school and it reputation. They don't have the students best interest in mind
Eliminate this test it is ridiculous to not let people graduate.
I can't believe this one test determines if I fail the course or not.
