We, the undersigned, object to the method and substance of changes decided by Hertford's Governing Body regarding the college bar. We feel that changes which affect the majority of college members should be thoroughly discussed with the members and take consideration of members' wishes. We feel the changes that have been decided are neither in the interest of students nor the preservation of Hertford's guiding maxims; being academically successful, friendly, inclusive and welcoming.

So frustrated with how this was handled. We deserve a say in how our college spaces are run.
TOTAL GARBAGE. Dont mess with the bar.
I really dont understand why the governing body acts like we dont exist. Have a meeting with us at least.
Ridiculous decision. The bar works fine the way it is. Stop trying to fix things that arent broken.
Hertford is supposed to be friendly and inclusive but this just feels like top-down nonsense. Listen to the students for once.

The bar is basically the only place people actually hang out. Changing it without even asking us is totally out of line.
