All the facilities are 'tired.' The membership fee is expensive relative to what you get. l would consider cancelling my membership if I had to pay for parking.

I would definitely consider cancelling my membership if there was no health suite and / or I had to pay for parking. Membership fees are already high and having to pay for parking would be unfair.

Definite lack of thought as to what the member or general visitor wants.

Feel the whole redevelopment is not geared towards the community it is supposed tto be serving and as for parking charges this could well be the last straw for families being able to afford the facility

If you're going for a sauna with your wife, why would you want her to be in a different room! Get a new design team or is it the people who wrote the brief who need to be changed!! No real surprise, must be the same people who got rid of the squash courts in Godalming when they were used 100% of the time in the evenings. I know lots of friends who have given up exercise as a result of removing the squash facility in Godalming and guess what they are no longer fit and health. well done Waverley for listening to private vested interests instead of doing what the local authority should be doing which is providing facilities which are used. in the evenings. The squash courts were always more full than the gym, but only earnt less because they were not subscription based. If you can't rely on the local authority tip provide local sports facilities and encourage healthy exercise who else can you rely on?!

I noted that the new build only has 3 showers for Men, but 4 for women. Why would this be when more blokes use the weights at lunch time. Also no plan for aircon in the changing room's for the guys. SO yet again we will shower (not all together) change & be soaking wet because changing room has no free flowing air. Re the parking, nope not happy at all. Luckly our company membership runs out in april therefore we will not be joining again, instead will look at other locations. Not bothered about health suite as such, but understand why other people are upset.

If the health suite is going and the car park becomes pay and display which is ridiculous i want to know is the membership cost going down??? I actually live on kings road so i wouldn't use the pay and display anyway but for people not as close they are going to start parking on the road and blocking it up! which also means when i come home from work i'm going to struggle to park

i do not agree with this also i do nit agree with pay and display parking idea. i have used the hearons since it opened weekly. i will go elsewhere if tgese chances are made. AS Haslemere is on WBC and Surrey boarder, it will not be within their areas and they will loose out financially.

This is an outrage, losing the health suite will have very negative effects.

my main focus was the communal health suite in the Herons as i dont have it in the work place gym. i believe if we dont have a health suite then obviously no point for a membership in Herons

Paying for parking unfair, redevelopment for health suite is a must. Please don't take the outside play area attached to the creche away. This will make the creche stuffy and unhealthy .

against downsizing of health suite facilities I will stop paying my husbands membership he considers one of the most important aspects of his health regime to be the sauna and it does not need downsizing.

I will not be using the Herons at all and transferring my membership to the Armana spa at Lythe Hill Hotel or The Georgian Hotel if the sauna and jacuzzi are not retained and improved. I am disgusted to hear that a PAY & DISPLAY CARPARK is being considered too.
