This is a great idea, I ride with Veterans UN/ Nato Group...I can't wait to have this ride all the way the same route our returning soldiers take...right to downtown T.O .

I am a 65 year old retired pensioner that lives in Cobourg. I have ridden a motorcycle for 49 years. It would be an honour for me to be able to ride my Harley in this event supporting our vets. It is an utter disgrace that town council and the HBIA have voted against this. They should be ashamed of themselves. These people are so out of touch with reality. They still think everyone that rides a motorcycle belongs to an outlaw motorcycle gang. Anything we can do to help our vets should be accommodated. Maybe Cobourg would be willing to oblige the Heroes Highway Motorcycle Rally to help our vets.

Every soldier is entitled to one certainty…that he will not be forgotten or abandoned. Poor is the nation that has no heroes…Shameful is the one that, having them…forgets.

This is a great event and PH should take advantage of every event possible. Yes large groups of motorcycles are loud but loud draws attention and attention draws people and people have money. It's a win win event!

Come on Port Hope. Let's show the rest of Canada how much you support the men and women of our troops and their families . Sponsor the HHR for 2016 and show how much you care as we riders and the organizers and volunteers do .
