It is very important for our church and it’s future to not be controlled or restricted by naming it as a heritage building.

Do not see the need to list a 1960's church as a Heritage item bureaucratic busy body's. Have council got nothing better to do?

I am against for our church to be heritage listed for all the reasons father Gerasimos mentioned

The church is only 60 years old so shouldn’t come under heritage listing. There shouldn’t be any restrictions in growing our church in the future. We need a larger hall and kitchen to cater to the needs of our growing Christian community. Restricting development will stifle our numbers.

over my life this church has changed dramatically and continues to improve and be functional to our community...please do not hinder this process in motion over generations now!

As the Greek community in the area continues to expand, it’s inevitable that over time, the Church building will require upgrading.

This is a relatively new building with ongoing improvements. It is a place of Orthodox worship, not an ordinary building! Heritage listing will introduce an unworkable beaurocracy for future maintenance and improvements. It will introduce extra cost to the Parish which already depends on donations.

No heritage listing for our church

This seems an unnecessary imposition, intended to stifle any potential development that may occur, which is already regulated through the normal approval processes. NIMBYism at its best!

The church does not provide environmental or cultural significance and as such should NOT need to be heritage listed. or reflect a style of architecture in to categorise it as heritage listed

Heritage listing this church is a ridiculous thought. The church is of relatively modern (if not ugly) architecture and especially when compared with Angican, Church of England and Roman Cathloic churches in the Eastern suburbs which may be 100 to 150 years old. Heritage listing this innocent church serves absolutely no purpose other than to place an unfair imposition on the improvment and expansion of the church as and when needed and at great expense and is hence an act of GROSS DISCRIMINATION!

How dare they presume the right to decide our fate and the fate of our Church we should invite the lawyer to come to the church on a Sunday and date address the parishioners.
