I was just out in the yard and thinking about how much easier it would be to compost if I had a few birds to help with the scraps. It is wild how many people are messaging me with questions about local zoning codes because I really did not think this would turn into such a big conversation about town policy.

I really thought this might just be a niche neighborhood thing but looking at the map of people who signed is honestly overwhelming. It feels like the whole town is suddenly ready to talk about backyard chickens and honestly it makes me want to go buy a coop today.

My kids want to learn where food comes from. Let us keep a few chickens in the yard like the next town over does. It makes zero sense to ban them.

it is just 3 hens people. they arent loud and they eat all my bugs. let us have them already
